What’s included in your pricing?
Our pricing includes supply of stone, fabrication to your specifications, polishing of visible edges, cutouts (if noted), delivery, and professional installation by our qualified team. GST is also included.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept EFT (direct bank transfer), credit/debit cards, and cheque. Payments are processed through secure accounts, and receipts are always issued.

What stone materials do you work with?

What brands do you offer?
We supply and work with leading brands including Caesarstone, Lithostone, Stone Ambassador, YDL Stone, Smartstone, and others. Many of these brands carry ranges in mineral surfaces, porcelain, and sintered stone, giving you a wide selection of colours and finishes to choose from.
What’s the difference between natural stone, mineral surface stone, porcelain, and sintered stone?
• Natural stone is quarried, cut, and polished, giving each slab unique colour and veining
• Mineral surface stone is man-made from crushed stone and resins, offering consistent patterns, strength, and a wide range of colours
• Porcelain is a ceramic-based product, fired at high temperatures. It’s lightweight, thin (usually 12 mm), UV-stable, and highly resistant to scratches and stains
• Sintered stone is created by compacting natural minerals under extreme heat and pressure, producing a dense, durable, and non-porous surface that’s excellent for both indoor and outdoor applications
Do you have samples I can view?
Yes. We keep a range of samples in our showroom and can also order larger sample slabs from suppliers.
Can I visit your showroom?

What thickness options are available?
Most mineral surfaces come in 20 mm. Natural stone is typically available in 20 mm or 30 mm. Porcelain tops generally come in 12 mm. We can also mitre edges to create the look of thicker profiles if desired.
How long does installation take?
A kitchen installation takes 3–6 hours depending on size and complexity. Larger projects may take a full day or more.
Will there be dust during fabrication/installation?
Fabrication is done in our factory with specialised machinery and dust control systems, so minimal cutting occurs on site. During installation, some dust may be created from adjustments, but we keep this to a minimum and clean up before leaving.
Do I need to empty my kitchen before installation?
Yes, benches and cupboards should be cleared out so our team can safely work. Appliances and sinks should also be disconnected before installation unless prior arrangements are made.
Can you work around my existing appliances?
Yes. We measure and fabricate to suit your appliances, but they should be on site during check-measure and installation so we can ensure a precise fit.
What happens if you find plumbing/electrical issues during installation?
We cannot carry out plumbing or electrical work. If we encounter an issue, we’ll stop and notify you immediately. A licensed tradesperson will need to address the issue before we can complete the installation.
Which areas in Queensland do you service?
We service the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Sunshine Coast regions, with the ability to travel further for larger projects.
Do you work weekends?
Our installations are scheduled Monday to Friday. Saturday work can sometimes be arranged by special request, subject to availability.
How far in advance should I book?
Lead times vary depending on workload and material supply. As a guide, allow 2–4 weeks from check-measure to installation. For commercial projects, we recommend booking months in advance.
What happens if weather affects my installation date?
In rare cases where access or safety is affected (e.g., heavy rain for outdoor installs), we will reschedule to the earliest available date. We’ll keep you updated throughout.
Do you handle undermount sink cutouts?
Yes. Undermount sinks are a common request. We cut and polish the opening and drill tap holes as required.
Can you install cooktop cutouts?
Yes, we cut cooktop openings to exact specifications. Please have your cooktop available on site during check-measure and installation.
What’s the maximum overhang without support?
Generally, up to 300 mm for 20 mm stone and 400 mm for 30 mm stone, depending on stone type and layout. Larger overhangs will require brackets or other structural support.
Do you provide brackets for overhangs?
No, these will need to be arranged by others. We can advise on the type of support required and liaise with your builder or cabinetmaker to ensure the correct system is in place.
Can you repair chips or cracks in existing stone?
Yes, minor chips can usually be filled and polished. Cracks or significant damage may require replacement sections. We’ll assess on a case-by-case basis.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, Stone Services QLD is fully licensed and insured. All our installers are qualified tradespeople and follow strict WHS standards.
Do you offer warranties on your work?
Yes. We provide a warranty on installation workmanship, and stone suppliers offer their own manufacturer warranties (typically 10–15 years for mineral surfaces).
Can you provide references from recent customers?

That’s why we always do a professional check-measure before fabrication. If there are site changes after measure, please let us know immediately so we can adjust.
Do you offer emergency repair services?
